My product is a TESOL (english language teaching) industry jobs website.
It uses a stencil map of the world as a search filter (e.g. click on the region of the world and see jobs in that region) to help English language teachers find jobs.
It is basically a English Language Teaching jobs website where you can search by country / region. (globally). The industry is global in nature, with people relocating to other countries to find work
Some ideas are below - I quiet like the silly tesoly one my friend drew as it is very memorable, but not sure it communicates that it is a website well enough. (and not sure how easy it is to use as it).
I also like the incorporation of the globe / planet in the below designs.
My website is for teaching, so it is creative, outgoing, friendly. The people that use it like to travel. They are predominantly young. It is also quiet an unprofessional / amateur industry so much of my competition websites have quiet an amateurish / bloggish look to them. I am seeking to differentiate myself with a much slicker user experience and a more modern silicon valley kind of feel rather than an old fashioned travel blog kind of feel
