Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We manufacture and sell a spine (back) brace. Our product has a very specific technology that is leading the industry. It uses a pulley system to control the amount of stabilization of the spine. Our product has a mechanical advantage that is the result of advanced technology that creates the biomechanics for compression, support, patient comfort,. Our Mechanical Advantage Pulley System allows the patient to maximize abdominal compression for the comfort and control of their spinal condition. There is a pull cord that creates abdominal compression and thoracic pressure, resulting in a relief of pressure of the paraspinal muscles as well as a decrease in pressure on the lumbar spine. When you pull the cord, the pulley system activates. The cord pulls through a 5-to-1 ratio of force per pounds of pressure applied. The brace helps with back pain and assists the patient with creating the necessary abdominal compression to create relief.
Our target audience is two-fold. On our website our target focus is the end user. The actual person that will be putting the brace on everyday. This means that this part of the business is direct-to-consumer, which results in our product being shipped directly to the consumer.
We also have an international focus that will be more of a business-to-business focus. We will sell to international orthopedic firms as well as international retail distributors. We will sell the product to the international distributor who will sell it to the end user (the actual patient putting the brace on their back).

We were thinking of incorporating a spine graphic in our logo. If we went with using a "V" or a "VM" logo, we would want the left side of the "V" to be a spine graphic. We would want the right side of the "V" to be an arrow pointing up. I have drawn and attached a sketch, though it is very rough. This is also not absolute, as we are looking for something genuine, creative, and easy on the eyes. Even if the "V" is not constructed with a spine graphic, we would like to incorporate a spine graphic somehow. Creativity will be rewarded!
Also, please keep in mind that our logo will be going on our actual brace in a very small manner. It will be on a button that is about 1 inch in diameter. I have included a photo of our brace and the exact location of where I want the logo to go. It is in a word file below titled "button logo"
