Kingfisher Specialty Coffee
Kingfisher Specialty Coffee is focused on providing personalized coffee on a subscription basis to individuals and providing an opportunity for groups and organizations to raise funds for their purposes.
Kingfisher Specialty coffee is a premium roaster with decades of experience. Our mission is to provide specialty coffee to individuals, companies and organizations seeking a quality means of raising funds. The intention of the use of our product for fundraising is on youth sports and activities at this point.
We would like our brand and coffee to appeal to people that want their own special blend/roast with convenient delivery.
We are wanting to draw from the colors of the Belted Kingfisher that is found in the pacific northwest.
The coffee we select for roasting is the top 2% of the top 2%. We also appreciate the "Paul Newman" brand model for doing business. We tend to prefer a timeless, classic "Ralph Lauren" style. However, we recognize that this does not necessarily appeal to the younger generation we want to attract. Part of the challenge is making this classic style contemporary enough to be appealing across generations.
We are hoping to use the logo for a product label, on a website, on hats/clothing, etc. We hope to see the kingfisher bird in an active position. It can be in the forefront and/or blended into the background.
The name Kingfisher was selected because the company was founded on an island in the pacific northwest where kingfishers are frequently seen.
The attached file is a raw sketch of a kingfisher in a stationary position. He has initially been positioned on top of the K (see second attachment) for a front label. we are interested in seeing other options. On the back label, a diving kingfisher as a watermark is desired.
We have attached several images of kingfishers in motion that we like.
