How Plebian Pictures started their logo & brand identity pack journey
Who are you known as?
Full name is Upstream Features. My gut says Upstream only, but if the approach includes the full name I’m not against it.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The company is a TV and digital production company that is primarily looking to engage and integrate brands into our projects.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Aquas: Empathy, compassion, clarity and precision.
Reds: Energy, action, passion and love.
Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I really like the attached idea of the three guys and a canoe we came up with (Though it can definitely be done more artfully), and would love to see that integrated but with “Upstream" on the boat. They’re faceless collaborators who have a vehicle that they have to get on track. Everyone in our industry claims to be a storyteller. We’re storytellers too. But we believe it’s at least as important to have a strategy for finding that story an audience. Source + Course.
In terms of style:
story = imagination,
course/logistics/marketing = substance, core, rock
So we’re looking for something that bridges the gap between creative and stable, what’s possible and what’s practical.
