We are a Stanford University affiliated 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Silicon Valley that uses the latest in mobile technologies to develop learning and critical thinking in children and adults around the world. We use the latest learning pedagogies in our self-developed technology in order to make world class education affordable to even the lowest bracket incomes.
Our focus is on reducing the digital literacy gap using technology, and this is accomplished through portable/mobile technologies where access to the internet is limited. As the world moves forward increasingly into the digital age, many communities worldwide continue to lag behind with their resources and knowledge of technology. This can severely impact the quality of education of future generations, as they may find themselves lacking in the digital skills required in order to be competitive in a job market.
We provide help primarily to children who are part of underprivileged communities and need our help the most. Our partners in the past have ranged from private investors to major players within the technology industry such as Samsung and Google. We have operated in over 30 countries and have reached hundreds of thousands of teachers and students.
Part of our work is to communicate stories. Stories about people, about lives, and how a child halfway across the world could be just as talented as the individual sitting next to you in a top class university, but instead lacks the resources to move forward.
Seeds of Empowerment is undergoing a modern update of its website and the brand requires a logo that is unique, stands out and represents the best of the best in innovation.
Growth and the development of children are at the heart of this company. However, it should be stressed that we are NOT a charity organisation. While our values and our work shares many similarities to charities, we are a professional non-profit that needs to be viewed in the image of a corporation. This is extremely important moving forward as this design will be presented in all forms of media.
In summary, we require:
- A complex and imaginative representation of an organisation that fuses education and technology. We are always looking forward and innovating.
- A design that is of the top quality that can be proudly used on business cards, presentations, and will represent us wherever we go.
- A design that tells a story about who we are at our core, and is something that communicates to an audience our mission.
