About us
NEW PLAN! None of the logo's struck me as perfect. Dont get me wrong, there was plenty of good choises. But I realized that I liked the old one much to well, the one we have had for the last 11 years. That was llso the respons from many of the voters on the pools (the oe that new about the old logo). So the new challenge is to take the old logo and develope/evolve it to something new. (it must be recognizible, but it must have som changes). I have found out now with this competition that maybe I did not have a good enough idea of what I wanted before I started. The good thing is that I found it out now. The rest of the designprofile I need help to anyway, and thet is really important, so hope you guys will follow trough. The old logo is one the website: www.mandelhuset.no and in the brief. Regards Patrick. Mandelhuset is norwegian and means "Almond=mandel house=huset" and is a 20 year old name. The House is from 1923 and was a small local store until 1994. Now Mandelhuset is a restaurant and pub, but I am thinking we could maybe have Restaurant and Lounge og Restaurant and Bar as a underline (if that is the correct term). But I don't have any slogan. Maybe "restaurant and bar" could be incorporated in the logo? Mandelhuset is located on a small island in Norway. The main customer group is local and around the Island, but we hope now to get more customers from all over the country. We are now building more on the restaurant and are renewing everything, that is why we need a new design. More about what we are can be read in the pdf Mandelhuset (1)
