I do like my old logo (the guy out of the wheelchair pushing a boulder). I like the Atlas and Prometheus imagery. If you capture the same essence, you're in my ballpark :)
Having a wheelchair of some sort in the logo is nice. Capturing, somehow, a transition from disabled to enabled would be nice. If you incorporate a person or any image whatsoever, keep it very simple and abstract. I don't want 'too much going on' in the logo. If you're considering a logo with a person, a wheelchair, a big boulder, etc... vs one with just the text and a very simple emblem...go with the latter. Sorry for demanding so much...but this service ain't cheap. I can't think of a way to do what I want..what exactly to draw or incorporate. Don't be afraid to think outside the box.
This may help. The message I am going to try and convey in my marketing campaign is this: "We are in this together. Fight alongside me and become emboldened. Grab your recovery with both hands...walk! Your fate is not sealed, your destiny is not to become weak. Some of us fight, some recover, it's possible. Meet your body's potential. Lost ground can be regained. Complacency is defeat."
A potential tagline: "Let your will meet your body's potential"

I like simplicity, and emotional imagery. Hard to reconcile, I know.
