Business & Consulting
WHO WE ARE MainStreet Revival is a brand new startup that will be focusing on the economic recovery of Main Street. Not Wall Street, but Main Street - putting an emphasis and focus on the small business sector. We have a direct connection with a lender that focuses on "revenue based lending," which lends according to your revenue, not credit or other aspects that most lenders require. This is a unique kind of lending based on their history of cash flow only. Once we get them the funds they need for business expansion, we will present them with a slew of services that will help them accomplish their goals, and help them to spend their money wisely. We are essentially - business brokers. Many of the vendors we've teamed up with are designated "B Corporations." The cause, is helping Main Street get back on it's feet, and we'll do that by having created a hub of "Benefit Corporations" who each have their own individual cause, and working to align those causes in a mutually beneficial way. Helping Main Street before COVID-19 was business as usual, but helping them after COVID-19 will be considered a good cause. I want businesses to look to us (my eventual team) for help in areas that are going to feel overwhelming to them as they struggle to survive this crisis, and the goal is to get them through the survival phase to the thriving phase. We hope to earn their trust by continually keeping a close watch on their business and applying what works by introducing them to programs we've found through partnerships we've formed. Why Revival?...Wall Street has been continually bailed out, but now it's Main Street's turn and that's why I decided on Main Street Revival. Our aim is to quickly achieve "B Corp" status. WHAT WE DO We audit different aspects of a business and help them find the best ways to save money, make money, and then get money (such as in loans or merchant cash advances etc.). We ask for all of the businesses vitals such as merchant credit card statements, bank statements, energy statements, etc. Once an evaluation has been made, we introduce them to a suite of vendors we've found who are highly competitive in rates. We will perform energy audits, solar evaluations, LED lighting assessments, and anything else that might lead to savings. We consult with them on marketing strategies and campaigns, introducing them to other companies that have a solid track record of success, helping them through each type of launch. We will be featuring a section on health and safety as a result of Covid-19 and present them with products that help them go touchfree on all fronts, from restrooms, to payment processing, to touchless doorways, cashier shields, you name it. We will also sell PPE products, cleaning chemicals, and other items that help with sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety. At some point I would like to expand the concept into not just a commercial setting, but a residential setting. Main Street is representative of the Middle Class. So I envision another aspect to this where we help everyday people save money, find government programs that help them with retrofitting their homes to save energy, and anything else that is helpful to our known struggles. For example...I have a relationship with a company that installs safe tubs for the aging baby-boomers, and another one that installs stair lifts for those struggling to go up and down stairs. So there's a sector right there to help aging baby boomers retrofit their homes to avoid the ever increasing expenses of nursing homes. Hopefully, this paints a clear enough picture of what the goal is. I'm hoping for a logo that's inspiring, uplifting, stable, and solid. I see us as helping to breathe life back into a lot of these businesses that got hit hard by the stay-at-home orders, resuscitating them from being flat-lined, back to having a healthy pulse. If we can get the "B Corp" (Benefits Corporation) designation, it'll clearly state the mission of reviving Main Street, and list the goals that I think are qualifying for a benefits corporation. If you're unfamiliar with what a benefits corporation is - it's a for-profit business that dedicates themselves to a cause, similar to how a nonprofit dedicates themselves to a cause without the tax-exempt status and fundraising that comes with a nonprofit.
Other color requirements
Green to me feels like growth or revival from death. Red might symbolize a heartbeat or pulse. I'm not sure, I'm very very open to suggestion and trust the designers. I once saw a combination of emerald green and purple and loved it but some people told me they thought that was too much.
