Luxury travel is exciting, exotic, and active. It is also expensive.
I would like the logo to be a combination of text and an icon. The icon must say travel, but not a plane, as I don’t want to be confused with a travel agency or booking service. My first thought is a globe icon, possibly hand drawn, but I may be completely wrong, so please feel free to disregard completely and come up with a better idea.
Another concept it to play off the idea of a passport stamp.
There is a slogan, but the logo should be able to work both with and without it.
One creative direction worth considering is to use the classic TWA logo as an inspiration. It has strong contemporary lettering and a globe icon integrated into the design.
The logo should feel luxurious, but not stuffy, with a mix of traditional and contemporary. Right now, its demographic will be split between the 40-60 age range and younger, affluent 30-somethings, so it should definitely skew towards a traditional classic luxury look.
The logo/icon should be compatible with the top luxury consumer brands in the fashion, auto, travel, and jewelry spaces.
The logo will be used in video, so please avoid thin lines, they are not ideal for video.
The logo/icon should feel upscale enough to feel like a lush resort or hotel, yet young enough to suggest the loose, experiential aspect of travel. Some aspect of it should have movement.
