We pronounce it Three Strands, and we explain that it's about God's Story, My Story, and Your Story, and the A is missing because our story with God isn't finished yet. The three strands concept is sourced from the Bible, from Ecclesiastes 4:9, and 4:12 - "Two are better than one... A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." It's a group of truly multicultural middle and high school aged students who are just now, after a couple of years of intentional community building, finding that they like each other and like our purpose of following Jesus, loving others, and bringing hope, and so a group name and identity and logo and brand will really help with our next steps, we think!
