How GrinsDoc started their logo & brand identity pack journey
Who are you known as?
Nicolas Dental and Braces
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target market is low to middle class Americans. We aren't the typical cosmetic seeking dental operation. We offer bread and butter services (services that are needed vs. cosmetic/elective services). We offer dental care at a low cost while maintaining high quality. We want our logo to say, "We're different than most dentists. We charge less, we treat you better," while maintaining the professionalism our industry requires.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Medical & Pharmaceutical
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
What we don't want... We don't want the typical "tooth" dental logo. Our goal is to revolutionize the dental and healthcare industry. We want it to be out of the norm. What we want... We want to be known by all as "Nicolas" and not "Nicolas Dental and Braces" so we'd like to see the word "Nicolas" out in front more than the rest of the logo, and we would like to utilize a graphic in the "O" in the manner that the attached Nicolas Global logo has done. Keep in mind, we DO NOT want the same "O" or graphic as the Nicolas Global logo, but are providing it for inspiration. Moreover, the "O" should incorporate a shadow below it. We do like the word Braces more than Orthodontics. It's less proper, but still recognizable and professional so we like that. We focus our marketing efforts on lit signage so colors that look great on a lighted sign are better. We want a modern look. We want nice clean lines. Our business is about Efficiency, Simplicity and Clean business practices. A truly unique healthcare experience. Many dental office logos are about elegance. We want people to know we are less expensive and more convenient. We want to be the professional yet rebellious cousin to the "typical" dental office/organization.
