About us

We are rapidly growing bankruptcy, real estate and commercial litigation law firm. We are targeting real estate investors, consumers facing debt crises, and other corporations with legal disputes. We plan on growing and expanding our office. As we take on new partners, we need a distinctive logo that can be adapted to include new names and abbreviation letters.

We want a powerful and distinct image for the New York legal market. We do not want anything corny like the scales of justice, gavel, court house or law books. Something clean that makes a statement. We want people to know this logo and be upset when they see what they are up against. We are open to logos that do or don't incorporate the initials SBAGK.

Heritage and value for a law management consultancy
To me, there is a real art form in play in the creation of marques like this. I don't say that I reach it. But I know the form well enough now to try. How to give a marque great value, heritage, durability, adaptability, convey professionalism, and reach the widest possible demographic? This is the challenge. In this marque, I use a classic serif for the tagline, weighted at around 40 to 60 relative to the main acronym in terms of the visual data stream. The whole task is about balance. But also efficient use of space. Adding the period, as well as the cutaway on the M, gives the marque clear distinctiveness. It establishes authority and forward-looking innovation as the core characteristics of the firm.
