Carmiol Professional Translations
We are a small business which does translations and interpreting, with a focus on the languages of the Western Hemisphere. Thus we would not like to compete with translations companies in Europe, but gain a larger market share in the Western Hemisphere. Our biggest companies are multinational companies which need translations of manuals, websites, marketing materials, etc. from English to Spanish. But we translate from US English and Latin American Spanish to any language, or from any language to US English and Latin American Spanish. We have translated to Chinese, Czech, Russian, etc., etc., through the use of freelancers we subcontract directly. But latin America is a 400 million people market, so we focus primarily on English and Spanish, plus Brazilian Portuguese and French. Hence our current logo. Wee have been in business for 5 years now, with ever increasing revenue, and currently have a central office in Costa Rica with 5 employees plus a large network of freelance translators and interpreters. We want to punch above our weight and keep on expanding. I did the logo myself, 5 years ago, to symbolize this focus on the Western Hemisphere. And my last name is Carmiol. I am Julio Carmiol. The website was made by my wife with a free website template software. But we are working to take this company to the next level, so this is why we want a professional logo, a professional corporate image, and eventually a new website. We have done SEO, and it has paid off handsomely. But now we want to work on our image. Our current website is carmiol.com. I understand it does not look professional. Heck, I did my logo on paintbrush! So this is why I want to change our corporate image, to help us to continue expanding. I like the current logo. So one idea would be to simply refresh the logo maintaining the overall concept (and do it in Adobe Illustrator, or something, in vectors, not a bitmap!). Another option would be for you to surprise me and come up with something completely new, that has a look and feel which is modern and sophisticated, and feels like a large professional company, not a mom and pop store. We like the look and feel of websites like lionbridge.com, thebigword.com, smartcat.ai,
