My current web address is powerfulpenny.com please check it out for help in understanding the services I provide and blogs I'm starting to write. Also, the attached creative brief below, along with samples of fonts I like and what my masthead has looked like in the past are attached.
I love hot fuschia! (Benjamin Moore's paint color "Hot Lips" is an example of the fuschia that resonates best with me.) I like to balance it with navy and a pop of yellow/gold as an accent color. I want my collateral material to stand head and shoulders above any other material conference attendees may receive when at a conference or forum. Perhaps from the thickness of the weight of the paper; or from the unique shape of the business card; or the hit of color, etc. Seeking a brand identity that is like me -- fun, yet sophisticated. My name is Cheryl Grace. The name of my company is Powerful Penny LLC. Powerful Penny is the stylishly smart, funny, kind (and sometimes brash) big sister, aunt, mentor, inspirational speaker and lifestyle guru you have always wanted (no, needed) in your life. Well-versed in triumphing over trouble she’s not afraid to push you to your next best level. Her candid, relatable style of speaking puts you instantly at ease as you learn how to turn your oppositions -- personal or professional -- into opportunities. Her candid, relatable style of speaking puts you instantly at ease as you learn how to turn your oppositions -- personal or professional -- into opportunities. I am a diva and the groups (primarily women and girls) to whom I speak to think of me as being aspirational for them. So my brand identity package needs to be aspirational as well: fun, unique, sophisticated/classy and divalicious all at the same time because that's who I am.
I believe in eating pink elephants (achieving really BIG goals). I train people to think big and using an elephant is a way I get them to understand how they can achieve their really big goals by taking one small bite (or step) at a time. Therefore, I'd like an abstract elephant with its trunk pointing upward to be a part of my brand identity. (Possibly as part of the logo.) I've shared the most recent version of an elephant I am considering using. I've also shared the creative brief document on Powerful Penny. And my current masthead which I'm revamping thanks to you!
