Vito's is an Italian restaurant at Oslofjorden (Oslo) just by the water surrounded by a large wharf with 250 outdoor seatings (100 inside). Many come here by boat and the harbour is filled with a lot of luxury boats. Vito's Restaurant has been there for ten years but the restaurant itself many years more, so it has a lot of regular customers. Vollen is the name of the community and the people that live there and mostly visit Vito's is richer then medium since it is Norway's most expensive area.
The opening hours today is 10-22 but we are planning a lounge bar concept from 22-02 on weekends. Today it is a seasonal place opened 5-6 months during the summertime. We want to change it to a place opened 10 months a year (not jan-feb). So the goal is obviously to expand the range of costumers (today 40 and up) to 25 and up. We want to attract more younger customers mostly from inner centre of Oslo. We will arrange more boats and busses and work with promotors and have a concept with daily DJ music and happenings for making this happen and expand our business. We will also be working together with clubs in centre Oslo as partners in sharing customers.
The food today is 50% Pizza and the rest is 25% seafood and 15% pasta and 10% meat. The Pizza sells itself, so we would like to address Vitos as a place inspired of food from the Italian Mediterranean and good Italian wine. We want to open a bar outside and a Champagne bar at the corner of the wharf with daily cached Oysters.
The feeling we want the customer to feel when he arrives is good food with personality and quality (fresh ecological raw material) in a stunning environment by the water and a good buzz from a lot of people.
Vito's Where people meet people. Is a potential slogan but does anyone have something better?
