“every dog has its day” a lyric from “what would you say” by the Dave Matthews Band. I have been a dedicated follower of the band for the last 20 years music is an important part of my life.

The concept is to sell on line high quality, well- fitting and functional made to measure dog coats.
The business intent is to be sustainable and to pay it forward: recycle – reuse - donate coat – business gives a % of the sales to the dog owner facing long term dog medication or medical treatment on a limited income.

The story behind the business

Dogs come in all size and shape finding a functional coat to protect from the elements is a challenge. I learned it first hand when I was in the market for a coat when my previous dog Maddy got sick and needed to be protected from the cold Wisconsin weather!
After some frustration and many returns to different big box pet’s store I ended up making the coat and a few more since I adopted (the) Riff whose picture (attach) from the human society caught my eye.
I have over thirty years of experience in the “human” fashion industry. I grew tired of the corporate politics. It seemed fitted to leave that world behind and start my own business with the intent to give back and pay it forward.
