Food & Drink
We are a coffee roasting business offering premium coffee to our customers. Target audience is both the coffee connoisseur as well as the average American desiring more from their coffee.
**UPDATE** Please do not use coffee beans in the logo. Coffee *cherries* are ok as a small details on the side. High Bank is named after a small creek, so the outdoorsy / river theme is important. I'd like to see more designs that look like drawings rather than digital vectors and heavier on the classic side than modern. If you are doing the minimalist design: Try to make it look similar to the Sportsman cigarette pack that is in my reference images. I am looking for a slightly more minimalist modern approach to vintage stamps (see attached) where “High Bank” is at the top, either arching or horizontally level. Font should be inspired by vintage ads for sportsmen goods or cigarettes (see attached images) At the bottom of the “stamp” should be the phrase "coffee roasters" in more block lettering and less flourishing than the “high bank” at the top. The artistic detail that makes up the dead space between the two headings: an oval with an illustration of a tree bending over a creek or an illustration of a foot suspension bridge as seen in the photo. Surrounding the oval should be designs of maple leafs and coffee tree leafs / berries intertwined in Victorian-esque style as seen in the stamp image attached. For designers that wish to compete but find my above description too complex, I will also consider the "vintage minimalism" as seen in the Sportsman Cigarettes logo attached below with the company name inspired from the fonts in the images. Colors should be blue (twitter logo type blue) and burnt orange / orange red for the name as seen in the "FIELD and STREAM" image. Ultimately I'm looking for something that harkens back to the 60's and 70's type advertising that suggests quality but also caters to the "simple man."
