Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a Manhattan-based retail clothing store (located in lower midtown) that has been around since 1963. We sell a mix of work wear, jeans, footwear and outerwear from iconic American brands (Carhartt, Levi's, Red Wing, Dickies, Woolrich and many more). We pride ourselves on selling a quality product at a value to our customer while providing a great level of service. We sell mostly Men's clothing but we do cater to women as well. Our customer base is divided into thirds: international tourists, blue collar workwear, and locals who like to blend fashion, function and value.

We have our wordmark that was created by a designer, but we are looking for an iconic logo. We admire a logo like Carhartt's that combines text and a logo (but is sometimes used separately). We like the idea of a modern-classic look; a logo that is clean and can stand alone without our company name next to it and still be recognizable, but also looks natural when combined with the words Dave's New York.
