RYMKS Bar & Grille
Full service restaurant with a focus on international soul food in a sports bar setting. Not fine dining but more upscale than fast casual. I wanted to create a logo that would include a remix of meanings. The outer circles are a dish that is not just a round plate, but a non-standard solution with serving and recipe. The element inside includes the meaning of the drop-extract, the grill grate, the leaf-naturalness of the products and the freshness of the solutions. The font is modern and the logo looks stylish and trendy. It is convenient for printing and embossing, can be used in color and monochrome.

Siempre Algo
Logo for a restaurant in an urban environment, serving handmade food and high quality beverages in a casual dining space within an emerging Pittsburgh neighborhood. Target audience includes residents, ages 30-55, typically without children, who choose to support the local community when they dine. Pittsburgh historically produced much of the steel that built America. For this reason I designed a strong industrial icon whose main elements are a factory (=Pittsburgh), a knife (=chef's food) and a bottle (=drinks). I did it with the negative space tecnique.

The chef and owner is very close with nature, and much of his menu is cooked over smoke/charcoal/wood fire, so the logo had to conveys an idea of "the perfection of imperfection in nature". Yamba Caparica - Logo Design and Brand Image

"Yamba" means beginning in Malawi. Yamba Caparica is a holistic boutique beach restaurant & bar/club located in Caparica, 20minutes away from Lisbon, Portugal. The place will have an African influenced decoration and vibe, without falling into obvious clichés. Yamba follows the aesthetics and philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, which embraces beauty as imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. I truly enjoyed a lot the whole creating process and I hope that the result speaks for itself :)
