We are changing the way you think about dentistry. GLO SMILEBAR will be an upscale, boutique dental studio with the look and feel of a rustic modern winebar (think SOHO, West Village NY).
We will offer wine tastings while patients wait. We will host Wine and "Cheese!" events in partnership with local wineries and restaurants. We will offer every amenity you can think of : massage chairs, blankets, heated neck pillows, flat screen monitors and bluetooth headphones, a beverage station, aromatherapy, etc. This is dentistry 2.0 for the modern patient!
I am a huge foodie, and this is my take on how the dental experience should be. Dentists take care of teeth, and teeth were meant for eating. So why not incorporate food and wine into the mix?!
Our target demographic is a female between the ages of 25-65 and values service/experience/brand recognition over cost (think Drybar, SOULCYCLE, lululemon, etc).
We are also targeting young professionals who are highly educated, know what they want, follow social media and will also pay more for the experience. These are the people who spend a lot of money eating at the best new restaurant in town, and will gladly pay $20 for a custom-crafted cocktail.
