I prefer sans serif and script fonts over serif fonts. (Yes, I know my website is currently in a serif font. It's under construction.)
If you're planning on putting "Octavian Natural Health" on two lines, I usually prefer "Octavian" on the top line and "Natural Health" on the second line, but feel free to prove me wrong!
Bonus points for a clever negative space logo!
I'd prefer to avoid cliche medical imagery, such as the Y man and crosses. Our style is very personalized, and I would like that to show in our design direction. If it looks like it could be a logo for a hospital or yoga studio, it probably won't fit here. I'm hoping for something in between the two.
My practice is named after Octavian (more commonly known as Caesar Augustus) because he took a crumbling Roman republic and reformed it into a successful, thriving empire. That's exactly what I want to do with my clients.
I am a massive classics nerd and appropriate usage of Latin and/or Roman imagery will float my boat. If you can combine that with more traditional "natural medicine" imagery without making it cliche or too stern, bonus points!
