Why 10 Digital?
In sports, mostly in soccer and rugby, the number 10 is the team star. Also the expressions "you deserve a 10" or "it's 10 out of 10" mean quality in Portuguese.
Besides this, we are not sure that we want to associate our 10 to sports, so maybe it is not a good idea to put this idea into our logo.
What we value:
Strong colors. We usually like hot colors.
To choose a single color to associate to our brand is good: a hot color that can be highlited in an overcrowded social media channel is good. To have a color that can be immediately associated to 10 Digital would be perfect.
Lettering: it's a cliché, but we love Aplle's design mostly because of its careful and clean designs and lettering.
Our logo must have an icon that can be used, in the future, without text (in example as an social media profile picture). To make the number 10 our logo is a possibility. Although we want a symbol that can be used alone, we want a logo with a mix of icon and text (and not only one of those elements).

I couldn't answer all your messages one by one because there were lots of them. I was discussing the logos with my co-workers and we archived most of the designs you submitted not because they are not good, but because we feel they don't add something unique to our brand. Also those who are not archived miss something that makes us pay feel in love with them.
This is the feedback I would like to give you: be creative, don't focus to much on my briefing... One thing is what we imagine, what we try to describe by words... and another one is what we feel when we see what other people create from what we said.
In summary: if you believe that red is not the best color... change it. If you believe that something more humorous would be better for a marketing company, do it.
The designs are good. But they all seem familiar to me, most of them seem very bureaucratic - we are a small and young, irreverent team who want to create something special in Portugal in Digital Marketing. We need a catchy symbol for our company. I would like to see some diferent logos from what everybody is suggesting.
What would you add to your brand if you were creating your own digital marketing company? Would you have just a number 10 with a logo? I felt it would be a good idea when I wrote the briefing, but right now it seems poor for me... Could you try to design some symbols, something more young, more irreverent?

We've around 24 hours until this contest closes and I still feel that there is something missing.
I mean: I look to so many logos and some are beautiful but... I feel that there is an emotional connection missing. And, for me, marketing is all about this emotional connection: not just elegance, not just numbers, but a true love between concepts, images and people.
How can we make a logo that can start a connection with people? That we can put talking on our social networks? That can interact with our fans, talk to them, smile, make jokes, make relevant content and share a story?
After so many elegant but very corparate logos I'm wondering if a human figure would help me in this. A figure that transmits confidence and that is sympathetic. That is fun. That makes me look at it and think: ok, this would be the mascot I would need to talk with my customers.
I know it's a big shift, but I'm like you: the more logos you show me the more similar logos I see. And still missing a truly emotional connection: well, if neither I connect with my logo would my customers do?
