Summit Hospice specializes in compassionate, end-of-life care for the elderly and terminally ill. Hospice seeks to neither hasten nor postpone death. The emphasis is on quality of life and dignity. Hospice recognizes the social, emotional, and spiritual needs as well as the physical needs of the patients. The hospice staff can help prepare for a peaceful death at home or in a homelike setting.
The audience will be patients in the final phase of their illness/life, and their families.
