Rick Carey is an iconic individual within the classic car world. Rick's spent the last twenty-nine years (since 1991) of his life attending classic car auctions across the globe "conditioning" (evaluating the condition of classic cars so one can better understand value) cars. He also writes opinion articles for most of the popular classic car magazines. He writes about the car's condition, it's value, and how it sold compared to its value. Rick now has a team of people who condition cars at all of the auctions - looking at over 70% of the classic car auction cars. They have been working with him for years, all trained by Rick. We have found that the conditions assigned to cars are often a bit subjective. The scores are often related to the experience of the person completing the condition report. Rick developed a questionnaire and algorithm for scoring the condition of cars, so the output is more consistent. We hope to scale the business. It initially will only work with the most respected auction houses around the world. This project is to develop a logo associated with the business. Rick is an iconic figure, always wearing a hat and a fishing vest, I have attached a photo; however, he's often seen with a cigar in his mouth. I like clean designs, have been thinking about a drawing of Rick, Rick Carey's Auto Condition Report. I feel like a round logo, with a drawing of Rick in the center, and Rick Carey's Auto Condition Report around it. Perhaps "Since 1991" (not est. since he has been conditioning since 1991 but the new technology-driven report is new. I am open to your suggestions and will respond quickly.
Other color requirements
I like the navy and green from the logo "Welland jackfish" logo below. However, I am open somewhat.
I’m interested in emblem logos. However, I also like words combined with images. It will be used on the report, gear (jackets, hats, vest) web page, and Facebook page too.
