Very nice job! Love the logo! I'm likely to work with this designer again for future graphic needs.

Very helpful, and quick turnaround!
He was very happy to work with me on the design, and provided additional variations without asking, which was nice. Out of 180+ submissions, his design stood out from the rest.

How dwheaton started their logo & brand identity pack journey
Who are you known as?
ArkTon Steel Inc.
What’s your company slogan?
“Welding Quality into your Product”
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
ArkTon Steel is a steel manufacturing shop that has been around for 4 yrs. under the ArkTon name but has been in this location building the same products since the 1970’s.
We have four office staff and 12 – 20 professional welders in our shop. We are located 20 minutes north of Calgary Alberta Canada and our building is 26,000 sq. ft.
We are a welding and fabrication shop that specialize in Pre-Engineer & Structural Buildings but are not limited to that. We also manufacture skids, platforms, stairs, ladders, walkways, modular structural box frames, oil & gas supports and saddles and secondary steel components such as purlin, girts, metal wall and roof cladding, and numerous other misc. steel items.
We have an active website (http://www.arkton.ca) if you care to have a look. Here you will find out more about our company and our products.
Our current logo as seen below is what we would like to improve upon as it is not good enough. We do like the concept but want a REALISTIC look to it and not cartoony. The orange colour was supposed to be similar to rusted steel look (realistic) and the beam grey/blue steel (realistic) with some rust on it and the ends of the beams have break lines on the beam that reflect the middle of the beam missing. This you may have to reference engineering or drafting terms.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?

I'd like to explore the following colors:
Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
