While the logos I chose on your site indicated a design trending toward modern I am thinking more toward clean and simple then I am toward 'modern'. Something that would be recognizable on a patch at a distance and recognizable at 3/8 inch. The logo should have a continuous boundary whether border or fill.
I am only able to select one industry so I choose 'environmental' but had I been able to choose more I would also have chosen 'sport', 'recreation', 'education'.
1. We are looking for a logo that communicates a sense of timelessness, institutional confidence and sense of
2. Keywords of inspiration include: grassroots, rugged, unique, adventurous, tough, pristine, wild, primitive,
scenic, authentic, wilderness, timeless, rustic, tradition, pioneers, guardians, protectors, and advocates.
3. Possible themes to explore include: Map. Compass. Rare wildlife habitats (grizzly, caribou and wolf), old growth cedar
groves, climax forests, fire lookouts and trail maintenance tools.

I've attached the Pacific Northwest Trail Association we are replacing.
I've also attached a photo of a Pacific Crest Trail System trail marker, AMC logo, and Trustees logo as designs we really like. I've attached the Glacier National Park Conservancy logo as a different style that would work too.
