I am an academic economist. The target audience is the scientific community of economics.

My research is a complete departure from the main paradigm of economics: that people maximise their own utility. My research will try to demonstrate that people follow their ethical codes, without relying on maximising their own utility, to behave in a prosocial manner. As such, I'd like the logo to communicate that creativity while maintaining an academic/professional feel. Concepts that link to my research area, in case you want to use them for the logo, are: - Both primates and humans share prosocial traits (food sharing, rejection of inequality). So, silhouettes of primates and humans together may be an interesting concept to exploit - Humans helping others may also help to define the concept of research - Embroidering the symbol of the two previous points within a petri dish, and putting someone looking at the situation in a microscope, or including such situations in a glass flask can show that I research such situations - Also, humans in a situation in which they are tempted to do the wrong thing may be a good point to exploit, as I study situations where humans have to decide between doing a prosocial action or a selfish action (e.g. eve biting the apple, someone stealing another, someone finding money and thinking: should I keep it?...).
