The Devil's Blessing
Tony Hernandez is the best-selling author of Slaughter & Maneuver, with more books spanning multiple genres. From WWII historical fiction to time travelling police procedurals, Tony's fiction has the same underlying theme. No one is safe when the darkness of men's hearts are involved. After all, no one likes a happy ending.
1945 - Germany The world is exploding. As the Red Army marches from the east and the Allies from the west, Germany’s Third Thousand Year Reich is about to come to an abrupt, violent end. Trapped in the middle are men like Otto Kunkel, forced to fight in a war that he didn’t want but has to pay for the consequences nonetheless. To what limits would you go to to survive in a world of death that is falling apart from around you? Written by Tony Hernandez, best-selling author of Slaughter & Maneuver, comes the next look into the dark corners of men’s hearts.

Book cover type
I want that retro, roaring 20s or Art Deco 1930s look. I want it to show Germans versus Russians with their iconography. I used a German font for the book title and Russian for my name. Just an idea, you don't need to use it. Also, it doesn't need to be the 1937 Paris Exhibitions! again, just an idea. I want it to look like a propaganda poster from the 1930s! Change fonts or whatever, but that's the key. A 1930s propaganda poster of Russians versus Germans with the book title and my name.
What to avoid
Even though i am showing the German eagle, i do NOT want a swastika. If we can make it blurry or not clear, that would be great..
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
antoniohernandez collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Working with Shommy was a very pleasant journey. From the onset, he understood the brief and came back with designs that have exceeded my expectations. Overall, he is incredibly patient, and very professional, which makes working with him not only easy, but also enjoyable. I am planning to continue working with him on future projects as I trust his skill and resourcefulness.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
