kayli.cashwell got their new book cover by running a design contest:
WCA Yearbook Cover
Check out kayli.cashwell's Book cover contest…
This is a school yearbook cover. Every student receives one.
What's your vision?
This is a Yearbook cover. Two sides are needed. The entire book needs to have dark colors (depths and shadows). But not just black. On the back, there needs to be a book, opened. There needs to be sparks flying up from the middle of the book going towards the top. (fiery, burning, bright, vibrant colors of that sort) There needs to be one main spark that makes a loop (or whatever you think looks best) that goes from the back of the cover to the front of the cover. The spark needs to flow from the back to the front to form the letters ' W C' preferably the W on top and the C below but somehow connected. The spark needs to look very bright for our theme Is light and darkness. At the very bottom of the front cover there needs to be our bible verse Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Please Please Please try and incorporate fire and light to make the main spark and smaller sparks look real. Remember the whole book needs to be darker so the light is brought out
The measurements are 20" by 12.5" 1/2 margin included 300 DPI PSD file is required

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
