GOD SHOWED UP AS … Headaches, Heartaches and Other Hidden Blessings Finding Peace from Stress, Anxiety and Depression
Stephanie Woods Samuels
Stephanie is a lawyer, certified hazardous materials manager and environmental compliance specialist who has worked in the environmental compliance field for over two decades. She is also an author, coach, and mentor in the environmental and other fields. Stephanie has experienced crushing loss, struggled with disappointment, and great pain, but later found blessings in those experiences. One of her deepest passions is helping others achieve relief from worry and stress over events which seem dire at first but shape life in an overall positive way. Her goal is helping others get through difficult times and realizing that "this too shall pass."
This is a non-religious book. It is a collection of testimonials from individuals who have experienced difficulties, pain, and adversity, and come out stronger on the other side. It discusses ways in which the divine universe or God shows up as chance encounters, unforeseen events, delays, and more. It is meant to serve as an inspiring reference that shows how all negative situations eventually turn to blessings, and how accepting that can help relieve worry, anxiety, and depression. It will be paperback, eBook, and audiobook.
● Both men and women, but primarily women (about 70% of readers) in their 20s to late 50s and beyond.

Don’t know yet
I’m looking for a stand-out from the crowd cover that in some subtle way conveys the imagery of stress anxiety, depression, pain and then the later discovery of peace. I don't have a concept of what that looks like, so I'm interested in ideas of what you may come up with.
What to avoid

And then… they selected a winner!
We are VERY happy with Natasha's book cover and it won the marketing poll, too. We did not really realize what we wanted until we saw her cover idea. Her depiction of our vision was bold and captivating. It was a great pleasure working with her.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
