The designer posted a completed cover almost immediately after I submitted my request. I could have selected that immediately without waiting for other responses but wanted to wait to see other work. I met with the author who immediately selected the same cover when looking at about 40 covers at that point. The designer completed one change and I accepted the work. The designer closely followed instructions where others had not. Excellent work. Thank you.
How jhowes106 started their book cover journey
Tunnel at the End of my Light
After a successful insurance sales and retirement planning career, John is living with Parkinson's Disease.
John Dierolf continues to work through Parkinson's Disease while sharing with others.
An interest in ordinary people facing physical challenges beyond their control. Families of those afflicted with Parkinson's and other Neurological Diseases.
Book cover type
Focuses the viewer on a specific point - the tunnel idea focusing on John in a business suit.
What colors do you want to see in your design?
A cover where the Title and the Tunnels with pictures connect for the reader. They should draw the reader in to learn more. The author is facing one of the biggest challenges of his life with courage and heart while keeping in mind the needs of his family and others.
What to avoid
The covers I selected as examples give a pretty good idea of what I am looking for, but I trust the designer may have something to add to what I may be missing.
