1hasan.azad got their new book cover by running a design contest:
Striking design needed for postcolonial novel set in Bangladesh and Britain

What's your vision?
A book cover for a novel: Red and Green: Oil on Water, a novel, by Hasan Azad. It's a postcolonial novel in the vein of novels such as God of Small Things and Midnight's Children. I would like the cover to have an 'Indian feel' to it. I am open to having people on the cover. Perhaps a woman. But it would have to be tasteful, as the novel is high-brow. I would also like to see examples of book covers with no people.
My book is a postcolonial novel set in Bangladesh and Britain. It is a history of a nation that is trying to find itself, in the midst of violence, sexual intrigue, and identity crises.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Book cover starts at $299.
