TerraWils got their new book cover by running a design contest:
Stellar Book Cover Needed For First Publishing :-)
Check out TerraWils's Book cover contest…
My first book. It is a compilation of stories from my life told in a fantasy style.
I believe the demographic my book will touch most is Young Adults.
Book cover type
- I want the Weeping Willow branches hanging low from the top right corner of the book. (Feel free to play around with positioning if needed.) - The trunk of the weeping willow is not to be seen. Only the branches. I want the scale of the tree to feel massive but unknown. - I want diamonds falling from the tree like teardrops/ raindrops. - I want the background to be plain, the focus should be on the branches and the diamond-like teardrops. (I am open to suggestions if you have any ideas for filling open space.) - The author's name should be visible and centered at the bottom. - The Main Title and Subtitle Should fit in the open space under the branches and above the Authors name. I am also open to positioning, please provided 2 to 3 examples to choose from. - I would like the back of the book to be just a cascade of the diamond teardrops. Matching what's on the front.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Book cover starts at $299.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
TerraWils collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
