Book Title: The Transformative Effect of Youth Sports: Forging an Intentional Path Towards Enriching Children’s Lives Through Sports
Author’s Name: Jason Kerrick
The Transformative Effect of Youth Sports is a book about all of the benefits that children gain from participating in youth sports such as exercise, valuable life lessons and leadership skills.
The goal for the book is to stand out on the Amazon platform as a small thumbnail but to also have the potential to fit well as a 5.5x8.5 book with a 72” spine. The imagery can hopefully capture the essence of transformation and make the viewer feel that the book (and the author) is the authority on the topic of youth sports and children’s development.
The reader should feel that as a parent that they must have this book as a guide to maximizing their child’s experience in youth sports and to help gain maximal benefits. It’s important that the book “pops off the shelf” or stands out and catches the eye quickly. The most important part of the design is that it sells, not that it looks pretty or well-designed. I am open to any image or illustration that you choose. Here are a few words or thoughts that come to mind when thinking of my book: Health, exercise, participation, life lessons, leadership, multiple sports, sports as the great unifier, intentional parenting, pure intentions.
I like a bold color palette. I like bold titles that you know right away what the title was and what it was about, not too busy and with relatively simple color schemes.
