Gordan designed my book cover. His design was in a group of about 50 submissions. It stood out among the rest of them and also mirrored my design brief. Working with Gordan is a pleasure on every level. He is a real pro. I can't recommend him highly enough. He deserves a perfect 10 score from me.
Great response time! Excellent service.
She is great at what she does!
How PeaceHillPressCovers started their book cover journey

Peace Hill Press
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We publish history and language arts books and textbooks for K-12. Most of our customers are home educating parents, private schools, and charter schools. We follow a classical, humanistic style of education.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need a cover illustration for our upcoming book "The Complete Writer: A Start to Finish Plan for Grades K-12" by Susan Wise Bauer
The design should include both the title and the author's name.
This is a guidebook for home school and charter school teachers to help them plan writing lessons for children in grades kindergarten through 12th. It is a complete plan from start to finish.
We would like a cover to be simple but bold enough to stand out with listings on amazon and other book sites. More of a solid colors with some texture to it instead of illustrations or imagery might work.
Illustrations and imagery are also fine, as long as design is uncluttered and clear.
Since this is a book for parents and teachers, we want to make sure it is appealing to them but not leaning towards the students. We mainly need it to get their attention.
I am a big fan of the Golden Ratio if you can apply it to the design.
Also, see the attached files for samples of some of our other books. While this design doesn't need to match these identically, it would be nice to make them feel like they came from the same company.
