What's your vision?
I am self publishing a book using creatspace. Trim Size: 5.25 x 8 Spine Width Estimate: 0.576 inches Allow .0625 on each side for fold .125 Bleed Title: The Amazing Adventures of Poopin Young Subtitle: Carrying on a Legacy Book 1 Author: Jason A. Faulstich Image resolution should be 300dpi minimum Should be a PDF file I would like this on the back cover: Born into a family in which IBS runs in the family, there is something different about Stanley ‘Poopin’ Young. In fact, his parents recognize this at birth when he is born on the opening day of deer season, the Young family's favorite holiday. They decide to go against family tradition and name him with a non 'J' name, something his family had not done for generations. As part of the Young tradition, when the clock strikes midnight signaling Poopin's 12th birthday, he must leave the family farm and head into the dark woods to live alone for a full year. Will he have what it takes to survive on his own? Follow Poopin on his unforgettable, and at times, unbelievable journey that will have you quickly turning the pages, wondering what will happen next. This book is the first in a four book series. Poopin Young is extremely confident and quite full of himself but for good reason. He is talented beyond belief with his bow. Poopin and his family are avid bowhunters living on a 200 acre wooded farm in Indiana. They are dirt poor, living in a small cabin but they have big hearts and are some of the finest hunters around. They have a strong Christian faith. On Poopin's journey, he befriends two raccoons, and finds a creature in a cave he calls a squangaroo because it is a cross between a squirrel and a kangaroo. The squangaroo stands about two feet tall and loves M&M's. Poopin's hero is his grandpa Jack. Grandpa Jack is a bald, muscular man in his 60's with very large biceps. Jack loves bow hunting and the Indy 500 and at the end of the story, after granpa Jack dies, Poopin makes his first trip to the 500 mile race. Also, Poopin and the squangaroo have a run in with some ghost animals at a scary two story farm house. The ghosts back them against the outside of an old weathered barn at night and Poopin thinks that they are going to die. The animals include 2 tigers, one lion, three wolves, two monkeys, some cats and dogs. Poopin also puts on a baseball uniform and hits a game winning homerun right after he climbs out of a cave he was trapped in...the same cave he found the squangaroo. Poopin also has two cross eyed cousins that are about his age. Poopin also loves junkfood...little debbie snack cakes, twinkies, ding dongs, etc. Poopin has blonde hair and a few freckles on his face. He is skinny but athletic. He wears a camo t-shirt, pants, and hunting boots. The setting is the early 80's. On the front cover I would like the title The Amazing Adventures of Poopin Young, the subtitle Book 1 Carrying on a Legacy, and my name Jason A. Faulstich. I would also like 12 year old Poopin in all camoflauge holding a bow with the two raccoons and the squangaroo standing by his legs. Poopin should almost look like a superhero. The two foot tall squangaroo should have a pouch, with strong powerful legs, with the rest of its body looking like a squirell. The squangaroo hops like a kangaroo. The story is very imaginative and sureal. I want the cover to capture that. I will let your imagination take it from there.

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
