6"x 9" 100k word count, approx. 350 pages. This will change slightly with final format. The designer will be required to adjust the spine later on. The book aims to teach young adults about Climate Change and how trees can save the planet. There is a definite magic element. Angels and Demons. A rainbow aura is present over the kid's heads that are enlightened by the truth. Can only be seen by the protagonist. She also has it. Most of book is refreshingly happy until end, it takes a dark turn. Not for light-hearted readers. The villain is Satan and his Jinns (demons). The good side are Arch Angels and elementals. Notable events/features: Hurricane Speech in Paris Gardens Jinns haunt her ** In an affluent neighbourhood in West Toronto, a precocious and privileged teenage girl, Shakti Clairemont, is not your average teenager. She’s painfully awkward, introverted and blessed with clairvoyance. Ordained by the spirit world, Shakti sets out on a quest to address the enormous and polarizing issue of climate change. Armed with her best friends, Hikaru and Zoe, she embarks on a series of events and milestone moments to uncover sublimely inconvenient truths about the world. But first, she has to find her place amongst the prophetic Rainbow Tribe. When a catastrophic event hits close to home, Shakti will risk everything to accomplish her impossible task. While mysterious dark creatures haunt her every move, the pressure to succeed mounts. Earth hangs by a thread. Shakti’s world is about to expand through heaven and hell on an elusive scale of destiny. Good Luck, Shakti. You’re going to need it.

Book cover type
On the cover, I would like to see a POWERFUL vertical flow of energy coming down the center of the page. Please refer to the rainbow pics. Unless you have something better in mind. I'm open to ideas. At the bottom, I would like a girl similar to the girl on Divinity Falling Book cover. There could be colour to her skin etc, or silhouette of a girl. The energy rainbow is beating down on her and she's bracing herself. She's a teenager (16) and has long dark loose hair. She's quite fit. She is of mixed-race (half Indian, half caucasian.) You also have the option of having no person on the cover. The mood of the book should be serious and powerful. Somewhat dark. The colours of energy should be vivid and very powerful. Hitting her like a waterfall or explosion. Or represented by energy. In the Dusk is Coming pic, the villains (Jinn) looks just like that. There is also Angel Michael (blue aura) OR Angel Gabriel (rose gold aura). (SUBTLE). These elements can also be used on the back cover. Optional: 1. In the background, could be a lake with glistening dark water (lake). Refer to Mondfluch pic. 2. The book is about Climate Change and how Trees can save the planet. A vast spiritual aspect to the book. Trees are important to the plot. The cover can suggest that Shakti is offering a tree as the solution to the problem. 3. I do love to see energy represented like in pic of Season of Darkness cover. 4. Toronto based - Urban fantasy. Optional to include, but don't want it too busy. 5. A side view of a sitting girl is preferable. I don't want to see direct facial features. The reader should decide what she looks like. I'd like a White Oak Tree or corresponding cover art on the spine of the book, along with publishing house logo (The Morado Group), book name and author name. Suggestion: Energy waterfall is the only full-colour feature. Everything else could be muted or dark tones (Soul Catcher pic) with hints of energy represented by colour. I'm open to your vision.
