Return of Reassuring Tales
Theodore "Eibon" Donald Klein is an American horror writer and editor. Although he's published very few works, they have all achieved positive notice for their meticulous construction and subtle use of horror. In 1975 Klein was one of the group of writers who originated the World Fantasy Convention in Providence, and was the first editor of the new Twilight Zone magazine (1981-1985) and made it the premier newsstand magazine that published mostly horror and weird fiction.
This is a single-author collection of short stories that includes horror, science fiction, contemporary fantasy, poetry, and "weird fiction" (a blend of sci-fi, dark fantasy, and horror). Despite the variety of genres, these stories are unified by almost all having a surprising (and often macabre) twist ending, the sort you might find in "The Twilight Zone" or "Black Mirror".
Fans of T.E.D. Klein; fans of horror and weird fiction in general and H.P. Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos in particular; fans of TV shows like "The Twilight Zone," "Tales from the Crypt," "The Outer Limits," or "Black Mirror." Assume a 50/50 male/female audience, both adult & young adult.
