blueSlimz put way more effort into designing my book cover than I would have for the same money. He provided me with a plethora of designs to choose from, and was quick to modify them to meet with my guidance. Communication between he and I was continuous. He clearly wanted my business and was willing to work to get it. I have nothing negative to say about working with him.

Working with Shuma was great, every little finishing touch was done quickly. I love the design. It was a stand out from the start, even with so many talented designers this is the one we kept coming back to. Shuma really got the idea I wanted to convey. I'm super happy.
How coshrichard started their book cover journey
Who are you known as?
The Million Dollar Server
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The Million Dollar Server is a book about my experiences as a server working at 7 different restaurants and how I used advanced sales techniques to seriously increase my tips/income
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I am on a mission to craft the perfect book. My book will be produced in a black leather hardcover, with the image/logo embossed in either white or silver (your choice). The book will have white or silver stitching along the edging as well. The spine of the book will say "The Million Dollar Server" and the back of the book will be blank.
It's simple, elegant, and very BOLD! I chose black leather to embody a fancy restaurant menu. The book will be standard 6x9 in size.
Note that the cover of the book will use the hand, tray, and text from the image/logo. Because of this, my brand logo MUST be re-drawn/re-imagined as a part of this project. I want my logo to be a silhouette of a server holding a tray with "The Million Dollar Server" written on it, just as it is now, only a better quality version (I had trouble making the hand look good). Fonts and Styles used is up to you!
Step 1: Redraw Image/Logo in Vector Format (silhouette holding tray)
Step 2: Create 3D Book Mockup using the hand, tray, and text from Step 1.
Note: I do not need a flat "3-Piece" book cover with front, spine, and back designed because I'm using leather hardcover. The finished product will be stamped into leather, not printed, so a layout of all three pieces would not be useful. For the Step 2, please do a 3D mockup only.
I need your designs to be similar to my existing ones, only much better looking! I attached a few different designs that I personally made (thats why they are so bad) to give you an idea of what I want. Happy Designing :)
