Dr. Lorie A. Sousa
Dr. Lorie Sousa is a native of San Diego, California, USA. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, a MA in Counseling Psychology from United States International University, and PhD in Social and Personality Psychology with concentrations in Business and Cognitive Psychology from the University of California, Riverside. She has worked as an educational researcher, research analyst, statistical consultant, evaluator, and adjunct professor teaching online courses. Dr. Sousa is a big advocate for the online paradigm because it is an equalizer and supports non-traditional and students with disabilities, giving them the opportunity to reach their goals.
The Online Teaching Toolbox is a brief guide addressing the practical aspects of online education and contains relevant research, best practices, instructional design ideas, activities, and tools intended to support teachers new to online instruction or those interested in enriching their existing online courses.
Teachers, instructors, school administrators, educational consultants.
