Book description

Design needs
The specific genre of this book is Christian Romantic Suspense. While it will fall into some romance categories, I'd like the cover to reflect the SUSPENSE aspect. This will show readers what kind of romance it is. Not a chick flick type. The hero and heroine both strengthen their faith in God while facing life and death situations and grow closer to each other. Bullets are flying while they try to figure out who is trying to attack them and why. I'm hoping the cover will reflect that intensity of the action and mystery of the plot. I'm very open to literal or abstract design. Something eye-catching that feels dramatic, suspenseful, exciting. Also - this is Book 1 in a series, so I should be needing a cover design for Book 2 in a few months. I'm hoping to contact the same designer for the second one so that the covers in the series will have some similarities - making the series look more like a set.
What to avoid
I don't want it to look like a straightforward romance with a shirtless guy on the cover. I'm hoping the cover will communicate that readers can expect more than a straightforward romance -- one full of danger, suspense, and spiritual growth.
