The Lonely Highland Girl
The Lonely Highland Girl is the debut novel written by Sharon McAmis. She was born in West Kilbride a small village on the west coast of Scotland. Sharon came to America in 1999 and has worked with several large commercial banks and lives in Tennessee with her husband. She is a fantastic storyteller and is finally putting this story down on paper.
The five female bank employees’ huddle together inside the locked vault. Shivering and uncomfortably aware they are half naked in front of their coworkers. Isabel stares intently at the new Assistant Bank Manager and has a strong urge to punch her in the face. They might die in here if she does not do something soon. Isabel is a pessimist and has every right to be that way. She left her beloved Scotland six years ago, the dark memories of what happened there still haunt her. Moving to America was the chance to start over and forget. But she paid the price marrying a handsome womanizer three days after meeting him just to get a green card. Unsuccessful in love and forever scarred after witnessing the murder of her first boyfriend when she was fifteen. Years later she seeks to bring his murderer to justice but finds herself in more trouble than she expects. Captured and alone she fights for her freedom. Trusting no one until she falls in love with a man that can potentially land her in jail for an awfully long time. She hopes that she can make the right decision as she will have to live with it for the rest of her life. Giving up on love is never easy, but sometimes chasing love is just as hard.
Women in the age range of 25-40.

Wonderful designer! I'm so happy with the book cover that Evocative" created. Not only is it gorgeous, but it looks better than I could have hoped for. On the more practical side, it sells the product, conveys the genre and its tone all in one.
Evocative" was wonderful to work with as well. (S)he responded quickly and patiently made my many requested revisions.
I definitely recommend this designer for both an exceptional design and a smooth, pleasant creation process.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
