Das chùnt scho guet
Four friends who have been at odds with each other for a long time finally want to make peace with each other. One night they bury the hatchet, but afterwards three of them disappear without a trace. Tony, the fourth in the group, quickly falls under suspicion. His daughter and son-in-law try to clear up the disappearance to his release. But as soon as the Lenten season before Easter arrives, more mysterious events occur. Is there a dark force at work here? A thriller based on local legends.
Target audience: men and women aged 40 and over
Book cover type
Somehow fairytale-like. Maybe something rampant over the whole envelope (incl. wayside cross, statue of the Virgin Mary?) or something wild, stormy or scary around the "Wild Hunt" (e.g. in the sky)? But it should not be too gloomy/too scary, but just radiate some tension. It's a thriller. FYI: The "Wild Hunt" is the German name for a folk tale common in many parts of Europe, mostly referring to a group of supernatural hunters hunting across the sky. The sighting of the hunt could have different consequences depending on the region. On the one hand, it was considered a harbinger of disasters such as wars, droughts or diseases, but it could also refer to the death of the one who witnessed it. In addition, there are also versions in which witnesses became part of the hunt or the souls of sleeping people were dragged along to participate in the hunt.
