Bilinguistics Speech and Language Services

We are a group of speech pathologists who work with children with impairments. We write books and create materials to use with the families and children that we serve. This book is designed for speech pathologists and educators to work with students who have high needs (e.g. autism, down syndrome, mobility impairments).

We want a cover for our book designed.

I have attached a temporary cover that we put together to do the print proof. It is heading in the right direction, clean-bright, but is a bit bland/flat. It includes the needed text.

To keep in mind: this book is Volume 1 of 3 so the design will stay similar, maybe with a change in colors so that something eventually unites the set of books.

We are self-publishing the book so we would need it in a format that we can manipulate and upload.

Attached is a picture that we purchased that we like. You can use it and or more pictures.
If I had to describe what I "want" it would be that the design is clean and modern. It would have a photo, not a drawing. It would have color but not be overwhelming.
Here are some examples of what we like that are from the same profession. With these examples we hope to convey the sense or feeling that these books esthetically give us, not necessarily wanting a replica of the content.
