In the 2nd book, the protagonist is taken by the jihadists to the town where his company's gold project is located and he witnesses the massive artisanal invasion and the destruction to the environment.

I want an artisanal mining pit in the lower part of design inspired by Serra Pelada https://rarehistoricalphotos.com/hell-serra-pelada-1980s/ and similar in style to the cover photo of Noah with a sketch of four key characters above the scene looking down. (see attached Noah movie poster for inspiration.) There's an image of the pit on the homepage of https://haivanle.com that captures some of the pit element.
