What happens when a superfan gets more than he bargained for when he meets his idol en route to a convention? #OTP is a M/M romance about a superfan and his celebrity crush falling in love.
Any gender, anywhere, ages 18+
I'm looking for something not to simple but also not to complex. I like the idea of just two men holding hands in the foreground (preferably walking TOWARDS the background) and then a convention crowd or just a comic convention going on in the background. I'd also like the wrists to include convention wristbands one to say "guest" and the other to say "attendee" to signify the specific role of each character and possibly a little something in like the back pockets like sunglasses for the celebrity and maybe a VIP lanyard for the fan as they give those out at conventions. I really want something more playful (hence the hands) and I'm open to suggestions but the book does take place at two different conventions so I'd like that incorporated in some way. There's a balance of the Fanboy!MC and Celebrity!MC POV in the book so I'd like to see the balance on the cover too. I'm fairly open to fonts. I do like what they use for San Diego Comic con or even ACE Comic Con. But I'm pretty open to fonts as the title is a reference to social media hashtags. I'll include references to stock images I found for a general idea of what I'm talking about but I'm open to suggestions or other images as I can't find an existing cover that suits my tastes.
What to avoid
Nothing OVERLY romantic. It is a romance novel but I'd like to avoid the stereotypical lighting and typography you see with most romance novels. No swirling, curling fonts and I'd like to avoid pink or purple lighting as I feel that's fairly prevalent in most romance covers.
It all began with a design brief.
