I'm a fantasy and paranormal author. I write books for high school and up.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Name of the book is "Witch's Sacrifice". (name on book has been changed)
A book cover for a print book. I want a full wrap book cover with a front cover that can be cropped for the ebook.
The book is high fantasy meets Lovecraft. There is a kraken (think giant squid with tentacles 100 feet long and two feet wide) that is worshiped by the evil clerics. A merman and a witch fall in love. Most of the story revolves around their love affair and their need to keep the witch out of the hands of the clerics who will sacrifice her to their kraken.
It isn't quite as dark as Lovecraft. I really liked this cover but it was unavailable, and I was thinking something like it, but with tentacles instead of fish. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VWKJMGNSD…2500-8.jpg
Also... This book is for a slightly older crowd. Late teens and up. I want the cover to be appealing to adults.

I am open to any ideas as I haven't been able to find the right covers. Please experiment a bit and I'd love to see it. Thank you.
