Donald is a Canadian currently residing in the USA. Coming from a low-income immigrant family, money has always been tight when he was being raised. On a somewhat frequent basis, he would see his parents bicker over their financial situation. Therefore, from a young age, he was weary about finances because he associated poor personal finance with conflict in families. From there, he chose to work in the software industry as software engineers were paid generously. Although, he never stopped learning on how to better and improve his usage of debt, investments, and other financial instruments for his and his family's financial security. Currently, he is running his Youtube channel named Coursehack with the aim of educating people on what is so important, but never taught in school, Personal Finance.
Leverage is a book which aims to teach anyone, struggling with their personal finances, about the basics of debt, investing, insurance, and other financial instruments. Readers can leverage its 5 steps system to find their own financial security and responsibility.
