I'm just a local kid, born and raised in a community of poverty. I am just a faithful Christian-based man who has seen his bouts of hurts, pains, and struggles. Deciding that I wanted out of poverty. I decided daily to ensuring that families, especially kids, don't have to face the things that I overcame in my life. Long story short, I kept true to that promise I made at 8 years old- to fight injustice in healthcare. I became a nurse practitioner and opened a local clinic neighborhood 3 years ago. The mission is to put the care back in healthcare. We bring high-quality, affordable, medical, and behavioral health experiences to the local community. Wrote a best selling book on Amazon in early 2003. My patients and supporters loved the book and starting to regain their health, wellness and livelihood back. Then COVID changed the world in general and medicine in specifically forever. Decided to go on the front lines as lives were at stake, things were looking bleak. However after recovering over 1000 COVID-19 patients in my community, which was the hardest impacted, decided to share more of my knowledge and wisdom I have acquired first hand. I have suffered many losses and hurts, many of which were perpetrated by my own mother. I did have siblings, but they turned a blind eye, which only killed me emotionally inside as I felt invisible. Off in the world, I went looking for affirmation and acceptance. With the recent pandemic and isolation worsening my emotions, I have to cleanse my consciousness again, which I help my patients do now. I have a lot of information to share about many psychiatric disorders, which I now see as a family nurse practitioner and psychiatric nurse practitioner. I know the pandemic is hurting people. Some are suffering more than most and don't know why? My research led me to some new conclusions regarding many psychiatric, mental, and emotional problems and their common link, childhood emotional neglect and or abuse. Childhood emotional neglect-abuse (CEN-A), in which I suffered a severe form of abuse, led to subsequent Bipolar and manic episodes on an adolescent unit, which was very insightful. I cover the topic extensively in the book, share clinical notes and my personal story, and what I used to come to peace, joy, and love.

My book's typical reader is the little lost, scared boy that is just trapped in an adult man's body. It is for men specifically, but people generally don't feel right or feel low or suicidal, as I can relate. Hey, it happens we call life. You get depressed, anxious, angry, scared, fearful, and confused, but nobody asks why? And more importantly, where did that start?
