I was raised eating food from my mother's garden and learned from an early age how to garden. Since starting my own family it has become more important in my life because I want my children to eat more healthily (more organic). I haven't always had the biggest areas to garden so I researched ways how to get the biggest yield for the smallest area and realized companion planting is the best option.

This is a book about gardening using companion planting. Companion planting is the practice of growing different plants together for mutual benefit.

Readers are an even mix of both genders, predominantly between the 25-35 years old bracket. Gardeners that have a little knowledge but not much. Readers come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds but most reside in America.

I am looking for a unique and simple cover. ( I am okay to have a less simple cover if it is unique and eye-catching. ) I absolutely love the watercolor look. Most gardening books have a green garden photo in the background with the title and subtitle in the middle of the book cover. I want to avoid that. I want to be able to take away the words of the title but still know what the book is about because of the book cover design. I got a book cover back from a designer that I liked but when I took the title away it was just water-colored veggies and looked like a cookbook. Maybe if garden tools were added it would have made a difference. I am excited to see what you come up with. If you want to go off the rails completely and design an obscure book cover I may just fall in love. I want to give you liberty as well since you have the eye for design.
